Milford Teaching Professions Academy
Milford Teaching Professions Academy (Milford TPA) is a program designed for high school students exploring a career in education. Our program provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of teaching. We offer various programs and courses to help our students prepare for their future career in education as well as many opportunities for real world teaching opportunities. Although students stay at Milford High School for all of their classes in TPA, it is an affiliate program provided by Great Oaks.

At MilfordTPA, our mission is to prepare and inspire the next generation of educators. We believe that every student deserves a quality education, and we are committed to providing our students with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful teachers. The Teaching Professions Academy is dedicated to fostering a culture of learning and growth, where students can develop their passion for teaching and make a positive impact in their community.
Meet The Teacher
Mrs. Norsworthy is the TPA instructor. She is a veteran teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience and is dedicated to helping our students succeed. She works hard to provide our students with the support and guidance they need to achieve their goals and solidify future plans. Personally, Mrs. Norsworthy began her career teaching English to high school students before moving into this role. She has Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary English Education from Northern Kentucky University, a Masters of Education degree from Xavier University, as well as 'plus 50' distinction for continuing education at Xavier University focussed in administration and guidance counseling.
